"Alf" Gelding All Rounder

16.2hh, 16year old, ID x WB

Lovely, gentle giant who always tries to please. A great, fun allrounder for a confident rider.

Works very well on the flat, has turned his hoof to some dressage previously and works in an outline with 3 lovely paces.

Loves his jumping and has happily popped a variety of show jumps and xc jumps with us.

Been out with the hounds and was completely unfazed and went round on the buckle for majority of the hunt.

He hacks alone and in company but does look for reassurance with others whether that being a steady horse or capable rider. He’s not nasty, just can sometimes worry so needs a rider that will push him on and tell him everything is okay!

He’s been a pleasure on the ground with us, a proper ‘dope on a rope’ to lead around however we would like him to go to a knowledgeable home because of him needing telling what to do when he needs guidance!

He would make a great allrounder for someone who is looking for a fun horse, or he could easily go out and hunt for the upcoming season, he really does aim to please and is just wasted with us now due to pregnancy.

Please do not let his age put you off, he was previously a bit of a lawn mower so has low mileage and is never sick or sorry.

Good to load, bath, clip, shoe etc
