"Ace" Black Gelding Project Horse

All about Acey: Irish passport. (with some Trotter in his breeding)(Sold from field)

Little bit about him: Ace is a lovely 8 year old gelding looking for a new home. Due to lack of time, he is currently being wasted and is being sold straight from the field. He has a wonderful and cheeky personality and will make a fantastic horse, for an experienced family.

Past Experience: Previously sold to us as a great hacking horse (including on roads) and a willing jumper. He is less experienced with schooling. Videos that were sent to us of him being ridden can be sent if asked for. This is due to us not having up to date ones.

Current Status: Ace has not been ridden for the past year due to being kept as a pet. However, we have just restarted him this week. A rider got back on him with absolutely no issues, and he walked and trotted around with no issues.

Handling: Excellent to handle, groom, bathe, and stands well for the farrier to have his feet done.Personality: A sweet boy who loves attention. He can occasionally nip if he feels ignored, so he needs someone who understands typical young horse boundaries.

Turnout: Currently lives out happily 24/7 with another gelding. He is very easy-going in the field, but we feel he needs to live with geldings.

Note: He has a cosmetic scar on his chest. His previous owner believed this was from an ill-fitting cart harness in his past. It is entirely superficial and does not affect his movement.

Ace is best suited to an experienced, knowledgeable home looking for a rewarding project. NO NOVICES.
