In the heart of Tunbridge Wells, we are looking for an experienced General Manger to assist on the continuing growth of the business. The Allotment has undergone Major refurbishment in the last year and has started to offer a small food offering that we would like to expand on.
As the General Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of running a pub that consists of a bar and kitchen
You will ensure that the team is well trained and motivated consistently delivering an informed and friendly service experience to customers. You will be responsible for driving sales forward with a specific focus on driving food sales. The General Manager will also be responsible for implementing standard operating procedures, ordering stock and dealing with all other back of house duties.

To understand the annual pub budgetManaging all daily and weekly paperworkReporting financials through to the overseeing director on a daily basisTo manage the management of liquor at the pub to ensure stock holding and rotation is efficient and wastage is minimisedUnderstanding, management and effective training of the company operating systems for electronic purchasing, payroll, bookings, table reservations, HR, recruitment, stock control and reporting
