Trainee Service & Maintenance Engineer Opportunity in the Sewage Treatment Industry

Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Trainee Service & Maintenance Engineer to support our growing business based in Framfield, East Sussex. To fulfil this role, you will need to be personable, practical, and great with customers, with a keen interest in electrics and engineering.

No experience necessary as the role includes on-the-job training that will provide you with the skills to deliver the following tasks and responsibilities:

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Once Training is Completed):

* Servicing and repairing pumping stations, large and small

* Servicing and repairing domestic sewage treatment systems

* Responding to call outs, managing your diary, stock, equipment, and upkeep of your van

* Travelling throughout the South East (Hampshire to Kent)

* Reporting and documenting service problems

Essential Skills and Education:

* A current, clean driving license

* Ability to work independently and show initiative

* Great customer service skills

* Ability to work well in a team

* Ability to learn through on-the-job training and professional courses

* An understanding of basic electronics is preferable but not essential

Working Hours: 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday including breaks

Full training, uniform, safety wear, and tools will be provided. A company vehicle will be provided once training is completed.
