Main Purpose of Role
To support the administration of the business. To promote the values of the organisation and support staff in the provision of mental health services.
At least 5 hours per week
9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Volunteers need to be able to commit to at least 5 hours per week;
Undertake any training deemed necessary for the carrying out of this role. e.g. confidentiality and data protection.
Answer enquiries sent into the Springfield email account.
Answer telephone enquiries.
Book service user appointments over the phone and send confirmation email.
Keep online database up to date.
Input new service users into database.
Record all service user contact on database.
Updating company documents.
Ensure the supply of information leaflets and to go box is maintained.
Contact relevant external organisations for copies of their leaflets.
You may be asked to carry out additional tasks within your capability, in order to meet the needs of the charity. You are required to abide by all policies and procedures relevant to this role.
Nimber is a community delivery service that matches items being sent with travellers going the same way. You post what you'd like to buy, and we notify bringers who travel that route. When someone can help they will make you an offer.
Once you receive an offer, arrange pickup and delivery times with the bringer, accept the offer and wait for your items to arrive at your door.
Your card is never charged until your item has been successfully delivered, and there is no cost for posting a request.
