Truly Care Services Ltd currently have exciting opportunities for Domiciliary Care Assistants in Mansfield / Nottinghamshire areas. We are seeking experienced Domiciliary Care Assistants and Support workers and offer flexible shifts that can work around you.
Working as a TCS care assistant means you will be involved in ensuring each client receives the highest quality of person-centred care, you must be confident in your ability to provide life-enhancing care that protects the dignity of the client and is in line with their personalised care plan. Supporting individuals with additional needs such as learning or physical disabilities or mental health conditions such as dementia, requires a calm and caring approach.
TCS is dedicated to ensuring each client is able to live life to their fullest potential which means recognising the capabilities of each person, championing their needs and seeing them as more than a care plan.
Working within a multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals providing clinical care to Service Users closer to home as part of the enablement service, Rapid Response service and Home from Hospital service.
To visit Service Users in their own homes and provide appropriate care and support as defined in the Care Plan. This will include aspects of personal care, hygiene, exercise, activity and treatment programmed prescribed by therapists.
Ensure adequate knowledge and comply with all risk assessment e.g. fire, manual handling, medication, challenging behaviour and all emergency procedures.
To support the users to experience life opportunities which promote the growth of individuals to their maximum potential.
Promote and take part in social, leisure, life skills, holidays and other activities with service users.
Take on key worker responsibilities as required and support individuals with the implementation of their day to day routine and activities.
To identify and follow policies and procedures including the Codes of Practice for social care.
Maintain full and comprehensive records.
Who we are looking for
Genuine desire to care and support vulnerable people
At least 6 months experience in care sector
Empathetic, confident, flexible attitude and solution focused approach to work
NVQ 2 Health and Social care desirable but not essential
Driver with access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential
On going training and full support provided
