This position would suit a dental nurse wishing to progress a career in dental managment. Managing a team of reception and nursing staff Performing reception/admin duties and oversee the general running of the practices diary management Manage practice rotas Monitoring sickness, absence and annual leave Manage practice accounts, petty cash, payroll reports, dentists salary reports and all invoices and practice expenditure Ensure staff follow practice working procedures policies including health & safety, infection control and data protection Support the practice dentists and hygienists and ensure they are able to approach you with any issues or concerns Ensure that all computer systems and all equipment are operating properly, report any problems to SOE or IT Company Deal with patient complaints, concerns or advanced queries Monitor the practice email address and respond to all incoming mails Deal with all practice correspondence Send all NHS EDI transmissions, ensure all claims get sent off and acknowledged and deal with responses Deal with ALL referrals, check NHS email, contact patients, put details on system, send out referral pack to patients, write letters to GDP, log all details Premises management; ensuring cleaning supplies, opening/closing the practice, checking fire & intruder alarms and running tests on a weekly basis.
