Sussex Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for two Account Managers to work for their International client. One vacancy is full time permanent and the other is a 6-month FTC that might lead to permanent afterwards. In this role you will provide excellent customer service to their customers and provide cover of all sales-related issues as they arise, as part of the Sales Account Management team.
To ensure and maintain excellent close working relationship with your allocated customers and endeavour to build relationships with a wide range of contactsFormulate and implement effective account strategies, including customer satisfaction and profitability development, through account plansUtilise company MIS system to create and manage all customer estimates & ordersCommunicate very well internally and externally, ref customer expectations and our capabilities to achieve their expectationsWork in a uniform way with colleagues, developing a system whereby knowledgeable cover is maintained during absence for whatever reason. Maintain cover for absent colleaguesMeasure, monitor and take appropriate action to ensure continuous improvement both individually and as a teamAchieve sales targets for individual given accounts and as a teamEnsure awareness of any bad debts, working with customer to clear them promptlyWhen requested prepare reports detailing sales v budget analysis, profitability, quality and delivery performance and any relevant activity, ie visits, business lost/gained etc for individual accountsEnsure all appropriate personnel are informed and satisfactory arrangements are made for customer visitsAdvise external customer visits may need to be made when appropriateEnsure prompt writing up minutes and actions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
Customer Service experience within an Account Management environment Able to demonstrate technical competenceAble to demonstrate problem solving skillsAwareness of sales strategy developmentExperience of continuous improvementAble to escalate issues in a professional mannerAble to demonstrate a good working knowledge of ExcelMaths and English at GCSE level or equivalent
