Local charity Association of Carers are looking for new trustees with a range of skills and experience.
The Hastings based charity supports unpaid Carers in East Sussex to continue in their caring role by providing free, high quality, volunteer-led services that encourage independence and reduce isolation.
The Association is looking for new people who already have experience of being a trustee, have experience of chairing a group and also a good understanding of what it is like to care for someone.
Meetings currently take place at the Association of Carers offices in Hastings Town Centre once a month on a Thursday afternoon and travel expenses are reimbursed.
Chairperson and Carer, Jennifer Allen said: “People often become trustees to 'give something back', but there is a two-way benefit; charities benefit from the range of skills and experience that their trustees bring, but trustees can learn and develop new skills that may open up new opportunities for them, as well as meeting people who share their passion.”
If you’re looking for the chance to 'give something back' and the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, as well as meet people who share your passion, please contact the Association of Carers on 01424 72230901424 7223...(click to reveal full phone number) or email click to contact

Once you receive an offer, arrange pickup and delivery times with the bringer, accept the offer and wait for your items to arrive at your door.
Your card is never charged until your item has been successfully delivered, and there is no cost for posting a request.
