Job Title: *Junior Systems Engineer*

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site as needed)

Job Type: Part-time - to start (leading to Full Time contract)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on Network Operations Center (NOC) activities such as server monitoring and handling second-line support ticket issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux web servers, related applications, and Office 365. This position is well-suited for a newly qualified engineer who is eager to gain practical experience and contribute to a dynamic and client-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain Linux-based web servers and associated applications.

• Provide second-level support for ticketed issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems.

• Administer and support Office 365 environments.

• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer support in line with our core values.

• Ensure proactive server monitoring and respond to alerts to maintain system uptime.

• Work effectively within a remote work setup, with occasional on-site support as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Recent qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience with Linux server environments and related applications.

• Familiarity with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage second-line support tickets.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while being part of a close-knit team.
