Home Instead Brighton, Hove and Shoreham is a successful, local, independently run, home care business, that stands out from the crowd. We pride ourselves on delivering only the best quality service to all our clients and bespoke our care around each Client's needs.
As Home Instead, we aspire to offer consistency and reliability to our clients, by carefully matching our CAREGivers to our clients, based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enable them to provide personalised support and continuity of care.
We have an opportunity for a CAREGiver to join our amazing team at Home Instead Senior Care- Brighton and Hove, Shoreham, where we offer high quality person centred, relationship-led care to enable older people to live in their own homes for as long as possible.
We are looking for drivers, preferably in Hove, Portslade areas, who have genuine interest in caring for others, and have availability in the mornings or evenings, and weekends, to do something rewarding with their extra time.
This is a part-time, non-guaranteed hours role, and is perfect for someone, who likes building relationships, being a part of a caring community, and can offer a reliable, continuous care. As a Home Instead CAREGiver, you will be visiting our clients in their own homes for an hour at a time, helping them with daily needs like conversation, companionship, easy meals, light housekeeping and personal care so they can continue staying in their own homes safely, with your assistance.
As the most important element of our unique service is exceptional companionship, it is essential that you will be a people person, with great interpersonal skills, warmth and patience, and you will have the ability to understand changing needs of the client and respond compassionately.
Whether you are already a carer, who is fed up with 15 minutes visits and no time to chat with the client, or you are from a whole different career but would like to give something back to the community, or a parent who would like to work around your existing commitments, if you feel passionately about being a part of a care organisation, contact our Recruitment Manager, Mine to see if we can make it work. Nimber is a community delivery service that matches items being sent with travellers going the same way. You post what you'd like to buy, and we notify bringers who travel that route. When someone can help they will make you an offer.
Once you receive an offer, arrange pickup and delivery times with the bringer, accept the offer and wait for your items to arrive at your door.
Your card is never charged until your item has been successfully delivered, and there is no cost for posting a request.
