Warehouse Picker Packer - Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath Fixed Term Contract - 12 months 35 hours per week £14,713.82 per annum (starting salary subject to experience), plus excellent benefits.

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Picker Packer on a 12 month fixed term contract for our warehouse based at the National Cat Centre – a beautiful 52 acre site on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. The overall role is to undertake warehouse picking packing dispatch of goods and related activities and you will work as part of a small, friendly team and within a diverse and busy environment.
Packing and compiling of all orders from volunteers and staff and preparing them for dispatch
Assisting with the unloading, checking and shelving all goods received at HQ
Assisting with the counting and checking of stock
Assisting with the delivery and collection of goods as necessary
Assisting with the collation of goods to make up packs
Assisting with keeping the packing and warehouse areas tidy
Any other duties as requested by the Facilities & Maintenance Manager or Warehouse Supervisor which may include working out of hours
You will be a great communicator with good organisational skills. You will have a proven ability to multi-task and to work as a team member with a positive attitude. You will need to be flexible and adaptable with a full driving licence. Ideally you will have previously worked in a warehouse, you will have skills in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), are empathetic to cats and you have your own transport. Knowledge of the local area will be extremely useful.
