We are delighted to be on the hunt for an experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to join our clients fundraising team. This role is working for and supporting a remarkable and truly amazing cause.
For this position, it is vital that the ideal candidate has experience working within a similar role within the charity sector, fundraising for and within the categories of ‘Individuals and Major Donors’.

Plan, develop and implement a sustainable income for the charity via multiple fundraising methodsSupport the organisations business plan and budgetsRecruit and retain relationships with dormant, new and existing donorsDevelop, manage and deliver activities and eventsPromote activities, fundraising campaigns and eventsCoordinate and take lead on projects, appeals and fundraising campaignsUtilise good techniques to increase donation and income revenue for the charityBuild strong relationships with donorsLiaise with all departments where required, Marketing especiallyPromote and work on legacy income streamsEnsure you are complying with fundraising and charity laws, legalisations and charity policies Income reportingSupport the development and management of budgets and targetsWork closely with management to explore and test methods of income generation and generate new methods of income source to support the causeWork closely with the board and management to strengthen major donor relationships and giving Ensure all records and donations are in compliance with TAX/HMRC regulationsEnsure all donors are thanked appropriately, logged and monitored regularlyDevelop fruitful leads from all teams, working closely with everyone across the organisation to ensure communications are followed up on and developed building a strong relationship across the boardEnsure donor database is kept up to date at all times Ensure all information and data is stored safely in accordance to the Data Protection Act and the organisations policies Event planning and organising – on and off siteTo train and supervise volunteers where applicableWork flexible hours for events and activities where applicable
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a similar role is essentialComputer LiterateGood communications skillsGood level of education
