Maintenance person

We require an all-round handy person to help with daily tasks in and around our town centre accommodation business. Experience of working in this position within hospitality would be an advantage.
You are required to a flexible approach to working hours along with evidence of solid experience in this field. On call is required on rare occasions.
We are offering 40 working hours at a rate of £10.70 per hour. We welcome applicants of all ages.
About The Role
As a Maintenance Assistant at Guildford Accommodation Services, you will be required to keep on top of the daily, weekly and monthly pro-active maintenance of the building, as well as dealing with any issues that are brought to your attention.
You will be required to work 8am – 5pm weekdays
About You
For you, that will mean making sure our residents are living in a place that’s proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times. You’ll carry out audits and make sure records are kept up-to-date. Whether you’re replacing a tap, repairing the timber on a bedroom window or putting up new wallpaper in one of the rooms, you’ll do so with an understanding of the impact on their stay.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in maintenance, building, and DIY. You’ll also an ability to communicate positively with a resident or co-worker, while being organised and efficient with maintaining records and paperwork. A key member of our team.
Salary: Good rates of pay
