Item description : These 2 x Fox Matrix Horizon 6000 reels (these are, I am reliably informed, exactly the same reels as the FOX FX-9 mini big pit reels, but with just a different paint job –

as new, never used, original boxes – all I have ever done with these reels is spool them up with fresh Daiwa line in 10lb BS. They were originally designed I believe as over-sized distance feeder casting reels, but anglers saw the benefits of using them as carp mini-big pit reels. The engineering that has gone into making these reels is, I have to say, very very impressive. They feel sturdy and very well made and comfortable in the hand.

The line lay on the spools is superb. Sadly, I will never use them, and so, I don’t really want them, so again, they have to go to the right angler who will use them.
