I am a lady with a number of disabilities including a stroke and being registered blind. I also have epilepsy.
My seizures can happen sporadically so I will need a Support Worker with experience in supporting someone during the seizure and experience of how to ensure my safety during a seizures.
Hours / Times of Work
22 hours a week available:
Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm
Surplus hours to be discussed after a probationary period
Rates of Pay and other Benefits
£9.00 to £9.50 per hour depending on experience
Main Duties and Responsibilities
I would like to expand upon my social skills and social life; partaking in activities as other young adults would safely and securely with the support of a personal assistant
I am looking to get support to access the community and attend social engagements.
Taking me for a coffee and enhancing my interaction and day to day life.
Personal care will be required as and when necessary.

Car driver with business insurance the car will need to be able to fit a wheelchair

The jobs is advertised on an employed basis (i.e. it is not relevant for self-employment). Successful applicants will be required to provide a P45 or complete a P46 which will be forwarded to HM Revenue and Customs to ensure that appropriate tax and national Insurance deductions can be made.
