Are you interested in working with children who have been diagnosed with autism? Then we want to hear from you? We are looking for enthusiastic Qualified Teachers to expand our dedicated team providing behaviourally based instruction (Applied Behaviour Analysis) to pupils.
Based in the Jigsaw CABAS® School, supporting pupils with autism and related disabilities within a classroom environment, to design, plan and deliver teaching sessions to encourage learning progression and social development. To participate in activities that support the aims of the school.
Understanding, Knowledge and Experience of UK National Curriculum.
Mainstream teaching experience /employment within the UK school system for a minimum of 1 year.
Teaching Qualifications BEd/PGCE/ QTS/QTLS achieved through BEd/PGCE.
Minimum of Grade C or Grade 4 GCSE in English Language and Maths or equivalent.
Commitment to our regular and on-going professional development programme and training.
Interest in the issue of special Educational Needs/Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Working hours are 34.75 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Hours are from 9am to 4.30pm four days a week and 9am to 5.30pm one day a week (on Tuesday’s) with a 45 minute unpaid break each day.
Starting salary is between £19,450 and £25,887 per annum (salary is dependent upon teaching and ABA experience).
44 days annual leave plus 8 statutory bank holidays per annum. The school operates across three terms.
