A position has arisen for a 7.5 tonne, Cat C1 driver for our client in the Derby area. The role will involve day shifts. Delivering food goods into fish and chips shops and possibly restaurants. This is multi-drop and will include handball. You will be taking goods of the truck and taking them into the shops. The deliveries will be within the midlands. The ideal candidate will be a 7.5 Tonne, Cat C1 driver with 2 years verifiable experience (for insurance purposes) and a smart appearance. Excellent communication skills are essential as the successful applicants will be dealing with our client’s customers face to face at point of delivery.
Requirements of the 7.5 Tonne Driver
You must hold a current 7.5 tonne license
Must have full CPC training
Needs to hold own up to date Digi-tacho
No more than 6 points on your licence (for insurance purposes)
Pay and Hours
Pay rate is £8.00 per hour (various engagement models are available, some of which are processed via third party providers)

Upon successful completion of your temporary period, you would then transfer to the company as a permanent employee.
