Daily Brighton is a new consumer internet startup, founded last year as a community-oriented advertising and events space for Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area. We focus on free and low-cost advertising space to give local businesses and residents a place to show off their products or services on a tight budget.
We are also in print and have been delivering our twice weekly poster to businesses across the city for nearly a year.
Daily Brighton is looking for enthusiastic and ambitious people to kick start our advertising sales team, both online and in print. The role will run on a high commission-only basis for 3 months in the first instance, with potential for a combined salary and commission role after the trial. Hours are flexible and can be managed around personal, study or other work commitments.
During the trial period we are offering a 50% commission on all sales revenue generated while in the role. We are hoping to bring two candidates on board and have an expected commission potential of £1,000 per week each. As a newly expanding startup, we expect it will take a period of time to reach full sales potential.
Responsibilities and Duties
Negotiating advertising sales with prospective clients
Answering client questions about products, prices & availability
Preparing sales reports
Maintaining client records
Good interpersonal skills

A positive attitude is more important than sales experience

Once you receive an offer, arrange pickup and delivery times with the bringer, accept the offer and wait for your items to arrive at your door.
