I am a private landlord with a portfolio of 19 rental properties scattered across the UK. All are managed by local letting agents. I am looking for a freelance property manager to work part time, typically 8 hours a week, to look after my portfolio and to keep the accounts up to date. Since I have local letting agents there is little interface with tenants and all repairs/maintenance, check in and out etc, are dealt with by the letting agents.
So this is a case of managing the letting agents, making decisions on my behalf about things like approving new tenancies, maintenance expenditure, signing documents and completing monthly accounts for the portfolio.
This job is flexible and time can be to suit you, day, evenings or weekends. You can work from home, with an occasional meeting with me. Most communication will be by email or phone.
The job would suit someone who wants to have flexibility and work from home. Perhaps retired and wants part-time work or bringing up a family and not looking for full time work.
Clearly you will need property management experience and use email regularly. Also familiar with property accounts and comfortable reconciling with the bank account.
If you are interested in this job please send me your CV and two references I can contact. I am recruiting now. I live in Hove, so a reasonable local person would be a benefit.
Nimber is a community delivery service that matches items being sent with travellers going the same way. You post what you'd like to buy, and we notify bringers who travel that route. When someone can help they will make you an offer.
Once you receive an offer, arrange pickup and delivery times with the bringer, accept the offer and wait for your items to arrive at your door.
Your card is never charged until your item has been successfully delivered, and there is no cost for posting a request.
