£20,007 per annum plus enhancements for working unsocial hours
We’re looking for a proactive, approachable Housekeeping Supervisor to cover a period of maternity.
Responsibilities include supervising a team of Housekeeping Assistants by planning rosters, allocating work and managing any staffing issues. You will also train new and existing housekeeping staff, set and monitor cleaning standards, maintain adequate stock levels and undertake all duties of a Housekeeping Assistant when necessary.
The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience with great communication skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively. Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures including health and safety, COSHH and infection control is essential as is working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to work and be willing to work bank holidays and provide cover on non-working days when necessary.
