Bespoke Languages Tuition (BLT) understands that students learn languages most effectively when they are fully immersed in the language-learning experience. To this end, our French lessons focus above all on real communication, using a variety of media, activities and games which appeal to the variety of learning styles (visual, kinaesthetic and analytic) to engage and enthuse. Students all learn languages at a different pace, and so our tutors follow a tailored curriculum designed to be highly flexible and comprehensive.

Our French lessons prepare students for all public examinations, including Common Entrance (CE), IGCSE/GCSE, A-level, Pre-U and Oxbridge entrance tests. We also tutor children (4 to 11) and adults who wish to learn French for pleasure or business. We cater for all ages, levels and abilities.

Our French lessons aim to:

Develop speaking skills (fluency, accuracy and pronunciation);
Develop vocabulary range (including phrases and idioms);
Practise reading skills (skimming, scanning, reading for gist and detailed information);
Enhance listening skills (listening for gist and specific information);
Provide practice of written skills (style, accuracy and register);
Review and develop fundamental grammatical structures.

We tutor in the comfort of your home, online (via Skype or FaceTime), or at the home of one of our specialist French tutors, at a time that is most convenient for you.

We currently tutor within a 10 mile radius of Bournemouth town centre, including Christchurch, Parkstone, Poole, Southbourne, Westbourne, Boscombe, Moordown, Winton, Charminster, Wimborne, and Branksome.
