We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual who is looking for an apprenticeship to gain on the job experience whilst completing an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.
The successful candidate will work directly for the PA to the Chief Executive Officer for a large, global IT Services organisation based in Birmingham. Due to the responsibility and confidentiality that will be required in the position, we are looking for an individual with the maturity to be discreet and confidential.
You will develop some of the most essential business skills throughout the scheme, which you will utilise in a wide range of business and administrative tasks. These skills when gained will help you to drive forward the rest of your career.
Developing your written and communication skills
Taking on the responsibility for a wide range of administrative tasks within the CEO’s office; including: Typing letters and reports, gathering and collating information from other departments, printing, photocopying and ordering supplies
Providing excellent organisational and analytical skills to the PA
Being proactive in monitoring processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
Enthusiastic with an interest in working within a professional office environment
A team player Reliable, committed, and punctual
Professional, organised with great attention to detail
Previous experience of working within an office is desirable, but not essential
Bright with the willingness to learn is key
5 GCSE grades C – A* (or 4-9) including Maths and English Good knowledge of IT packages e.g. Microsoft Office
£12,000 p.a. to increase by £2,000 p.a. for first three years plus excellent benefits (28 days holiday including bank holidays, BHSF health scheme, number of salary sacrifice schemes for reduced mobile costs, travel cards, gym memberships etc.).
