14hh chunky 6 year old cob gelding

Dexters a brilliant pony, he’s proving safe to hack alone and in company, basic schooling is there. great in open fields/heavy traffic not much he hasn’t seen he’s even been in the local pub a few times 🤣. Has done a few local shows and placed. Can pop a small jump. Novice children and adults have been on him and he’s proved to be very patient and forgiving. Kids can lead him. Great to handle bath clip, good with vet and farrier currently has fronts on. He can live in or out. He’s also been turned out with mares and geldings with no problems. Stands solid at the mounting block. He’s forward going but has great brakes. I would say he’s best suited to a confident teen small adult. Because of his age I don’t think a complete beginner as he still needs to further his education and he is forward. Apparently broken to drive but haven’t seen proof of this and haven’t tried personally.

He’s good to load.

Dexters bad bits- he needs strong secure fencing he does not respect it at all. He doesn’t like being left alone in the paddock he will run around and get stressy he’s better turned out with others. He’s perfectly fine if it’s him going out alone but if he’s left he doesn’t like it. Dexter also likes to be left alone when eating his bucket.

Dexter is very nosy loves people and attention a change in circumstances forces sale and he needs to be with someone who has more time for him. He will make someone a super best friend. He comes with all his tack and a few rugs Telford Shropshire
