Clover is a stunning dapple grey Irish Draft mare, rising 6, with a kind nature and a personality that truly wins people over.

I have owned Clover since she was a yearling, so finding the right home is extremely important to me. This is a very genuine and honest sale of a mare with huge potential.

Clover was professionally started and backed two years ago at Sophie Seymour’s before returning home. As she is a substantial, big-boned Irish Draft who had a lot of growing and maturing to do, I made the decision to give her time rather than push her on. I had intended to keep her, so there was never any rush with her education.

She has mainly hacked since being backed and has enjoyed time to mature. She is good to handle, kind, sensible and has no vices. She loads, travels and is a pleasure to have around.

To be completely honest, Clover is still very green for her age. She is not working in an outline, is not yet balanced and is very much a big baby who still needs producing. She has not been jumped and will require consistent schooling from a competent rider. She is not a finished riding horse and is being priced accordingly.

What she lacks in education, she more than makes up for in temperament. She has a wonderful personality, loves people and has all the attributes to become a fantastic horse in the right hands.

Please do not enquire if you are a novice rider or are looking for a ready-made, finished horse, as Clover is neither of these. She will suit a confident and knowledgeable rider who enjoys producing young horses and can continue her education at her own pace.
