We have a new opportunity to work as Waking Night Worker directly with one of our client’s in their non-smoking home. Focus on providing highly individualised support and personal care. Working with the family in Seaford, East Sussex, you will be supporting a 6-year-old girl with her personal care and ensuring that she is kept safe at all times. She is visually and hearing impaired and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy. You may also be asked to support the family with some light domestic duties.
Our successful candidate will have experience of working as a Waking Night Worker and should have worked with children who have cerebral palsy or similar conditions. You will have experience of working with children who experience seizures. The hourly rates of pay are as follows:-
Monday to Friday - £12.00 Saturday & Sunday £14.00
The following shifts are available:
Wednesday 9.30pm – 7.00am
Saturday 9.30pm – 7.00am
Sunday 9.30pm – 7.00am
Experience and qualities required of the role include: Excellent communication skills and an understanding of necessary family needs
Good standard of written and spoken English are all essential.
Experience of managing a complex needs client an advantage. Excellent observation skills and a high level of competency are essential. Time spent working with young people or children.
