Photographic, Marketing and Media Assistant Wanted for Online Sports Retailer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic photographer looking to progress their professional career. Although we are not necessarily looking for a professional photographer, we are looking for someone with experience, quality and an eye for detail. A solid portfolio of previous work would also be an advantage. You should be keen to learn and be excited by new challenges in order to develop your photography skill set. We value someone with the passion, ability and a positive attitude for creating professional work.
- Typical Hours: 8am - 5pm / Mon – Fri (although some flexibility is available)
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience, progression within the role.

With over 70 brands and thousands of products you will be responsible for making sure we have these images available for when the product is launched to our website and external marketplaces. This is done via two ways - Collecting the images from the brand website or shooting the product in the photography studio.
Responsible for all photography across the business, including; Product photography, campaigns & social-media content. Required to know how to edit image inaccuracies such as creases, blemishes, colours and backgrounds etc Responsible for saving and uploading product image files for our online marketplaces. Full access to the photo studio where you will be responsible for the lighting, mannequins, and props. Required to hit deadlines in a predominantly self-managed role. Downloading and filing images from our brands websites and downloadable files (Media banks & File sharing) Professional communication via phone and email with our brand partners
Although you will be expected to prioritise your work towards managing product images - If you manage your time correctly, there will be plenty of time to allow for creativity. This includes setting-up and shooting commercial campaigns to use for email campaigns, online banners and social media. The ability to extend this type of work is solely down to how you manage your time.
Photoshoot planning and management of models, locations, products and time schedule. Strong project and time management will be required to deliver on these projects Communication with your team will be vital, to align photoshoot schedules with product delivery and launch dates. Expected to think on your feet and be creative with ideas, especially with ad-hoc work and short deadlines
You will also be working closely with our in-house marketing team to complete this work. You will be initially guided and taught about quality, expectations, and limitations for this work, but predominantly be expected to come up with creative ideas and work alone.
Social media will play a crossover within your role. You will be working closely with our marketing team on creating assets for our social media accounts, which may include scheduling and posting.
Responsible for the overall quality of imagery on our social media accounts Creative thinking and ideas may be required when trying something new
