Application Solutions (Safety and Security) Limited is looking for full time Sales Support to work in our busy Sales Team. The role is vital to the smooth running of the team and will include some Account Management, there is also room for progression within the Sales Team.
We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the initiative to prioritise work particularly when there are conflicting priorities, the ability to work to tight deadlines and an analytical approach to solving problems.
We also need someone with a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Some experience in sales and marketing would be desirable
Key responsibilities include:
Some Account Management Being the first point of contact for all sales quotation and commercial support enquiries via phone, emails, website or direct contact. Logging all new quote requests and purchase orders onto the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Keeping ASL’s information system (Sugar) up to date with all customer relevant data (address, phones)
Providing customers with answers on any commercial related issue (prices, documentation, stock availability) Delivering competitive, accurate and timely quotations. Assisting with assigning quote follow up in accordance with ASL CRM nominated person. Updating the Dimensions system to ensure an up to date stock forecast and raising potential supply conflicts with the Team Chasing open opportunities with an aim to close the deal or for an update on estimated close date and/or delivery timescales Completing forms and questionnaires from clients
