Through steady growth they have become the UK?s largest specialist supplier of recruitment services to the transport and logistics industry offering a full range of recruitment services including temporary and permanent, driving and non-driving positions. Job Description: You will have total responsibility for the Exeter office of this specialist consultancy covering the driving sector. The role includes ensuring correct staffing levels plus training, retention and motivation of staff and managers. You will promote a consultative approach in order to ensure that, not only are your consultants delivering against expectations, but that they are also providing expert advice with a strong solution focus. In order to ensure the on-going development of consultants, you will work to identify training and other needs and provide the necessary support and assistance. You will use your business acumen to make the most of your resources, maximise productivity and deliver profitable results. Experience required: The successful candidate is likely to be an experienced Manager with a good understanding of strategic planning and team building. Existing knowledge of the driving sector would be preferable, although not essential, and a demonstrable track record of building strong and productive teams is a must. Previous experience of management should include identifying training needs, coaching consultants, planning and responsibility for Profit and Loss Accounts. Applicants should be hard working business people with excellent communication and relationship-building skills and the ability to instil a consultative, customer and solution focused approach in consultants.
