Consultants work closely with clients to develop and build comprehensive recruitment strategies and build long-term relationships in the niche markets of media, business services and professional services. With their extensive market knowledge consultants thoroughly understand industry-specific needs and deliver a first class service at all levels of recruitment. Job Description: This role is covering is maternity leave on a good, established desk with the potential to become a permanent position when the period of maternity cover ends. You will be recruiting sales professionals into the conferences and events arena, taking on all aspects of business development. You will use your communication skills to develop both existing and new business relationships, formulating a real understanding of your clients? business needs and providing workable solutions. You will also continuously look for new and proactive ways of generating and building relationships with quality candidates, advising them as to their options and delivering against their expectations. In addition you will use your experience to advise and assist more junior members of your team. Experience required: Applicants should be of graduate calibre with at least twelve months experience in recruiting sales staff, preferably for the conferences/events market. Outstanding business development and customer service skills are required together with excellent time management and the ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and written. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the sales recruitment market and and an extensive knowledge of the recruitment process. In addition the willingness to work hard and a strong desire to succeed are a must.
