The village ofHyde is set on a plateau about 400 feet high and offers scenicwalks. It is only a mile and a half from the old town ofFordingbridge on the river Avon, which will cater for all your dayto day shopping needs including a fresh fish shop and bakery. Also offering a variety of pubs, restaurants and take-aways and abeautiful play park set by the river.
Thevillage itself has a garden centre with farm shop and a lovelytearoom which also does meals. It also has a Pub withrestaurant and Play garden serving wonderful food. There isalso a village Ex Service Mens Club offering very reasonablepriced drinks and food all within easy walking distance.
The New Forest area has lots of places to goand lots of things to do what ever your age or holidayrequirement. From historic towns, country houses andcastles. To wild life centres and children’s parks. There are also interesting Cathedral cites like Salisbury andWinchester just 30 minutes away. Fancy the beach then one ofthe countries top seaside resorts is only 20 minutes away atBournemouth, or something a little more traditional with Swanageor Weymouth and the beautiful Dorset country side within easyreach and a lot more besides. |

A beautiful, well furnished family facilitylooking onto a large and well established garden and patio.
The accommodation consists of a spacious loungewith a comfortable sprung slatted mattress bed-settee, chair, stooland coffee table, TV and video with a huge selection of tapes, welshdresser, dinning table and four chairs, a well stocked bookcase allin beautiful pine and lots of kids toys and games.
A good sized kitchen with a four ring cooker &oven, microwave , fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettleand all the necessary cups, glass, plates and utensils.
A shower room with shower, toilet, hand basin,mirror and shaver point.
A wooden staircase leads up to the bedroom withits two very comfortable 3ft pine beds, bedside table and lamp, ahanging wardrobe and lots of storage cupboards.
The annexe flat sleeps up to four people and isextremely comfortable with two.
