The BCCC is an award winning recycling and composting social enterprise based just on the edge of the city. It offers to households and businesses a local environmentally focused garden-waste recycling facility.

We offer a range of excellent value waste collection services which help keep your  garden wastes away from landfill sites and keep the city tidy:  Garden-waste left in landfill sites slowly rots and can be a major producer of Methane, which is 23 times more potent a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide and accounts for 7% of all greenhouse gas emissions in the UK! The Bccc contributes significantly to the city's recycling of such 'wastes'. Please see our Household Services page for details of our collection services.

100% of the material we process is recycled into garden and horticultural products of high quality which are for sale at big discounts compared to garden centre prices. Please see our Products for Sale page.

As a social business we offer an additional 20% discount on the price of all our products to eco-schools, environmental projects and other community organisations involved in producing or educating about local food production. Please see our what we do page for details.
