The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) are looking to recruit male participants to take part in memory tests, with the aim of standardising and reviewing the BIRT Memory and Information Processing Battery, a test of memory and similar abilities currently used in clinical settings (including the NHS) across the UK.
If you are interested in taking part, it will take around 60 minutes to complete and you will also be paid £10 cash for your time.
If you are thinking "My memory is awful, I won't bother taking part" or "I'm worried that I'll do worse than I thought and it might reveal that something is wrong", please don't worry! This is not a pass/fail test - youwill be providing us with valuable information about how memory works and you will help many people across the country who have experienced brain injury/disease.
You can find out more on www.birt.co.uk/memory where you can also fill in an online form to express your interest in taking part. If you are interested in taking part please contact us on or on .
Testing is currently taking pace in Burgess Hill, West Sussex but will hopefully be extending across the country in the future, so please register your interest even if you are not from Burgess Hill.
Please help out this charity and be part of an interesting local research project!
