Mobile Dog Massage uses massage therapy and passive movement. The massage is based around traditional Swedish Massage techniques modified through experience and training to be performed on dogs. The Swedish Massage techniques used include effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction and vibration. These will be used along with passive movement, passive touch, tendon release, trigger point and stress point massage, acupressure and canine set exercises. Mobile Dog Massage is a non-invasive complementary physical therapy that stimulates the body’s natural ability to heal. Mobile Dog Massage is a supplementary treatment used alongside normal veterinary care and requires veterinary referral.
