Autumn Garden Tours of Sheffield Park and Gardens

Lewes Folk Festival
6th – 9th October 2011
Returning for its second year, the Lewes Folk Festival brings together the efforts of two of Lewes’ folk clubs: The Royal Oak and The Lewes Saturday Folk Club. Based in various venues across the historic town, just a few miles outside of Uckfield, the Lewes Folk Festival line-up includes many local acts, as well as some folk stars from further afield. The fantastic Black Umfolosi 5 from Zimbabwe will be bringing their harmonic acappella singing and traditional African dance, whilst Lewes resident and folk stalwart, Shirley Collins will be making a couple of presentations. Murder Mystery Meal on the Bluebell Railway

Have a go at solving a dastardly Murder Mystery whilst taking a journey through the Sussex countryside aboard the Bluebell Railway. Board the train at Sheffield Park Station and soak up the terrific atmosphere of the 1920’s Pullman carriage. Halloween Creations in Wilderness Wood

Venture into the mystical woodland of the Wilderness Wood, Hadlow Down this October and experience some spooky goings on, just in time for Halloween. This event, designed for children aged from six to 11 years old, takes place from 10.30am – 12am.
