What’s on in Uckfield in March and April 2012

Annual town meeting

The Annual Town Meeting is widely publicised each year in Uckfield and this year is no different.
Uckfield residents are being encouraged to come along and raise any concerns or queries they may have to members on the Town Council.

This year town councillors are hoping that, with so many ideas in action and projects being completed in  the town, more residents will come along and air their views about Town Council services and facilities.

You can put your questions to the Councillors on the evening. Alternatively you can submit them in advance by sending them to:

The Town Clerk,
Uckfield Town Council,
Civic Centre,
Uckfield.
TN22 1AE
or by email to
townclerk@uckfieldtc.gov.uk
or by fax to 01825 765757

In many instances where questions have been submitted in advance, Councillors may be able to give fuller answers on the night, particularly if additional information is required from the District or County Councils, or from another agency.

The Annual Town Meeting will be held at Uckfield Civic Centre from 7.30pm on 18 April 2012.

Prior to the meeting there is an opportunity to meet informally with the Town Mayor and the Town Councillors for light refreshments from 7.00pm.

Uckfield calender competition
The Uckfield calender competition is back for 2012 - don’t forget you have until 31 July to submit your entries!

The competition is open to amateur photographers of all ages who live within the town.

The judges will be looking for originality, creativity and strong composition.
