Wilderness Wood Half Term Events
Head down to the Wilderness Wood in Hadlow Down for some fantastic half term treats. There are plenty of events to keep the little ones (and perhaps the not so little ones) entertained. From going on a bear hunt to finding out more about woodland elves and fairies, the guys at Wilderness Wood know how to capture kids’ imaginations.

Lewes Concert Orchestra
Conducted by Adrian Shepherd MBE, this performance from the Lewes Concert Orchestra will feature recitals of Elgar’s Sea Pictures, Massenet’s Scenes Pittoresques and Sibelius’ Symphony No. 5. Lucy Williams, a well-established Sussex-based mezzo-soprano, will be performing.

The Hamsters 25th Year and Farewell Tour
The Hamsters have long been established as a premier blues-rock attractions and are bringing their own brand of rootsy Americana to Uckfield, As well as their own material, the band will also be performing some Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top songs, for which they are famous for interpreting.

Some Like It Hotter
In this production from the Oxfordshire Theatre Company, screen legends Lemmon, Monroe and Curtis revisit their Hollywood heydays at Uckfield’s Pamphilon Theatre. Featuring daring dialogue, razor-sharp wisecracks, sparking musical numbers and red hot jazz, this travelling production is not to be missed.
