London Philharmonic Orchestra
The Orchestra performs an all-Dvorák afternoon with three of his best-loved works. The spirited and energetic Carnival Overture opens the concert, followed by the romantic and ever-popular Cello Concerto, performed by international award-winner Colin Carr. The concert concludes with Dvorák’s Symphony No. 7, the most vibrant and inventive symphony he wrote.

Mayor’s Charity Bake Off Competition
The Champion bakers of Seaford, Peacehaven and Bishopstone will be competing for your votes in the Mayor’s Charity Bake Off. Come and witness some top class baking and eat some of your favourite goodies. You can buy a ticket and judge a category of your choice.

Real Ice Skating Rink in Eastbourne
A real Ice Skating Rink comes to Eastbourne seafront. Fort Fun aim to bring fun to the ice for young and old with that special ice experience. All types of skaters welcome, experienced and inexperienced. The rink is covered offering skating if it rains non skaters can relax and watch their family having fun upon the ice, while having fresh coffee and pastries. Or try the on site food outlet with a choice of hot and cold foods and drinks.

This play introduces the Wicksteeds, a family for whom the determination to put sex and the satisfaction of the body before anything else, is the ruling passion of their lives. Permissive society is taken to task in this hilarious comedy. It is Alan Bennett at his incomparable best.
