This year there are THREE London to Brighton Bike Rides
For the first year ever the British Heart Foundation are holding three versions of their classic london to brighton Bike Ride. Three entirely different versions of one iconic event - how good is that?
This means that not only can you take part in the traditional London to Brighton
Bike Ride, but you can also experience the Night Ride and the Off-Road Ride. There really is something for everyone.
The
registration for the regular ride - the original ride shall we say - is now closed, but for those of you who are interested in watching and offering your support it takes place on 17 June 2012. The ride begins at Clapham Common, near Clapham South tube station and ends on Madeira Drive, Brighton.
But if you want to take part in the Night Ride then you are in luck as registration is still open and closes on 11 May 2012. So why not saddle up for a night time bike ride from London to Brighton? Ride 60 miles through starlit countryside, leaving the hustle and bustle of London behind you, and let the breaking dawn lead you to Brighton's Madeira Drive. It is set to be a truly fantastic event and I would recommend getting involved and doing your bit for charity whilst enjoying the beauty of this country at night and whislt also getting
healthy.
And, the final choice of the three fantastic rides is the London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride. This event takes place on Saturday 22 September 2012 and begins at Froebel College, Roehampton University, Roehampton Lane, London, ending at Hove Lawns, BN3 2LS about 300m west of the Peace Statue. This version of our classic ride is 75 miles almost entirely off-road. It’s a challenging and testing route that mixes cycle path, single track cycling with forest tracks. It’s London to Brighton but we take it off road!
If you choose to take part in any of these fabulous rides then you will be helping raise money for charity, whilst
exercising and just generally having a good time!
