Some of the best places to walk your dogs

Owning dogs can be brilliant, you can take a little time out from your usual hectic schedule to take them on a nice walk, but after a while you can easily get bored of taking your dogs to the same old places.

Luckily for you we’re giving you some details of the top rated dog walks in the UK – beware, you may have to drive a bit to get to some of them!

Hastings Country Park
Hastings Country Park in Sussex is a brilliant place to take your dog if you love the greener side of life. Sprawling hillsides and trees a plenty this walk will not disappoint even the fussiest of pooches.

Beaulieu B
You will find this little gem in the heart of the New Forest – take a stroll along the river to the famous Bucklers Head and back again to the village. This is a really peaceful walk and there is plenty of different sights and smells for your dogs to check out along the way.

Cuerden Valley Park
Cuerden Valley Park is near Preston in Lancashire – this place is so vast yet so popular with other dogs and their owners, it really is a dogs dream. They can run and play with other dogs they meet along the way and check out sprawling bodies of water and thick greenery too. One of the best things about this place is that it is super wheelchair friendly as the paths are already laid out and there are very few hills to negotiate.

Daisy Nook Walk
This place is beautiful, based in Lancashire it looks like a secret garden with lovely old stone bridges, plenty of ponds and places to just stop and think about the finer things in life. It is really special on a sunny day and you dog will absolutely love it as there is all sorts of terrain to explore.

Dinton Pastures
Dinton Pastures is in Berkshire and provides several different routes for you to choose from – this is brilliant as if one looks a little busy and you really fancy some down-time you and your dogs can choose an alternative route. There are seven lakes, two rivers and several meadows here so your dog will not get bored from exploring all the different scenery.

Fife Coastal Path
If you’re a beach lover you will definitely love Fife. There are numerous sandy beaches to choose from on this walk. There are rocky areas, cliffs and flat walks to choose from so it’s ideal for all types of abilities.
