Our favourite chippies
The national 2012 chip week is right around the corner, so we decided to ask you lovely people for your input on all things chips!
From your favourite chippies to your favourite kind of chips, we’ve got it all - so whether you’re into curly fries or wedges - read on chip lovers.
So what are our favourite chips then? Well it appears our next door neighbours come up trumps when it means delivering a delicious potato based snack as the classic french-fry has been most popular so far with a whopping 58% of your votes! Thick cut chips are coming in at a close second whilst curly fries and wedges aren’t even getting a look-in.
With that said, we know you’re favourite chips - but where do you get them? Well we hit Facebook and asked you all to nominate your favourite chippies - and here is what you had to say:
Rebecca said: Christoforos, Ham Road, Worthing. Friendly staff, great chips and kids meals too. Just fantastic
Lisa said: Manor chippy in Brighton because they are family run, you get large portions and they are always freshly cooked. You usually have to wait while your food is cooked but its worth the wait.
Sam said: Mr chips in Langley green I travel from Bewbush just to get some chips so yummy
Jo said: The Master Fryer in Pound Hill. Good food and healthy.
Donna said: West green chippy in West Green Crawley
So what is national chip week anyway? Well it’s a week-long celebration of all things chips of course! You can vote for your favourite places to grab a plate of these fried naughties, as well as take part in all sorts of fun and events - you can even win goodies!
