”The perfect platform to advertise low priced goods, because it appears to cater for the right clientele. Response to advertisements is excellent. ”

”The process is very simple and straightforward. I have sold everything from toys to furniture using Friday-Ad. For most items the service has been free. Very profitable, and a lot less effort than a car boot sale! ”

Kids Out of School Activities

With the kids going back to school this week (or a few weeks ago if you’re in Scotland) then now is a good time to see what other activities there are around for them to get involved with throughout the school year.

Getting your kids into various clubs, societies, classes etc can have great benefits for them as they help children to learn how to make friends, teach them new skills and also most importantly to have fun.

Here’s a few suggestions for you to consider…

Scouting Movement

From the age of 5 your child can get involved in the Scouting Movement – Rainbows, Brownies and Guides for girls and Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for boys (although there are girl Scouts too!). They will experience a whole host of fun activities every week, plus there are annual camping trips and other days out. The ‘subs’ is also really low and people sell second-hand uniform all the time too so it wont cost you much.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming is a really important ‘life skill’ for your child to have as it will keep them safe around water. They can start experiencing swimming from a young age and then keep on learning. Contact your local swimming pool to find out more.

Sports clubs

From football to mini-rugby, hockey to athletics, there’s lots of sports clubs near you that have junior teams or sections for kids. Out of school sport keeps your kids healthy and teaches them all about team work. They might also be budding sports stars in the making!

Dance

Not just for girls! Dance classes are another great way for your child to get exercise. A range of different types are available – Ballet, Tap, Cheerleading and the current popular choice of Street Dance.

Shows and awards allow them to perform in front of audiences and gain qualifications.
