Brighton has been a holiday destination for many since the Prince Regent built the Brighton Pavilion; it is sandwiched between the sea and the South Downs and is a picturesque place to live. Brighton has a cosmopolitan mix of residents and now it has city status Brighton is truly thriving.

If you are the sort of person that loves to party then Brighton is perfect as it has a huge number of bars, pubs and clubs to choose from. Brighton has an excellent music scene and has many theatres, museums and art galleries to keep you cultured.

The property prices in Brighton have exploded so the average house prices are high and rent will certainly not be cheap. If you are thinking about getting a property in Brighton and have a family then there are many schools to choose from. If you have young children then there are a massive 30 primary schools in the city for you to choose from. St Pauls Church of England School, St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School and Balfour Primary School are particularly strong academically but there are many others with excellent results. Secondary schools are brilliant too with about 16 to pick from. Roedean School for girls is the best in the area with staggering results, Brighton College also has some excellent results. Varndean School is the best state school in the area by quite some way.
